Save the Last Dance is a great song; it is one of my favorite oldies. Save the Last Dance is also an average film featuring the plainest white “star” they could find in 2001 money…a.k.a. Julia Stiles. No relation to Ryan Stiles, the funny improviser from Whose Line is it Anyway. Also unlike Whose Line, this movie features all the worst of the inner city stereotypes that they could cram into a single film. Where as Whose Line, has Wayne Brady…who is delightful. Anyway, come watch the story of one white woman’s journey through the inner city. She comes face to face with her own privilege, learns nothing in the process, and then gets into Juliard.
